أجزاء الكلام في اللغة الإنجليزية (Parts of Speech)-2


عندما نتعلم اللغة الإنجليزية، فإن من أهم الأسس التي يجب فهمها هو ما هي أجزاء الكلام (Parts of Speech) وكيف تعمل داخل الجملة. فالكلمات لا تأتي بصورة عشوائية، وإنما لكل كلمة وظيفة نحوية معينة، وقد تتغير وظيفة الكلمة نفسها حسب السياق الذي وردت فيه.

فكرة أساسية: لا يكفي أن تعرف معنى الكلمة؛ المهم أن تعرف ما الوظيفة التي تؤديها داخل الجملة.

يمكن تشبيه أجزاء الكلام بقطع البناء: كل قطعة لها مكان ووظيفة، وعندما نعرف وظيفة كل كلمة نستطيع فهم كيفية تكوين الجملة الإنجليزية وترتيبها بصورة صحيحة.

ما معنى Parts of Speech؟

مصطلح Parts of Speech يعني تصنيف الكلمات حسب وظيفتها داخل الجملة. والتصنيف الأكثر شيوعًا في الإنجليزية الحديثة يشمل تسعة أقسام رئيسية:

  1. Noun – الاسم
  2. Pronoun – الضمير
  3. Verb – الفعل
  4. Adjective – الصفة
  5. Adverb – الظرف / الحال
  6. Preposition – حرف الجر
  7. Conjunction – أداة الربط
  8. Determiner – المحدِّد
  9. Interjection – أداة / كلمة التعجب
ملاحظة: بعض الكتب التعليمية القديمة تتحدث عن ثمانية أجزاء، لأنها لا تفصل Determiners كقسم مستقل، بينما تصنفها المراجع الحديثة غالبًا ضمن Word Classes المستقلة.

1. Noun – الاسم

الاسم هو كلمة تُستخدم لتسمية شخص أو مكان أو شيء أو حيوان أو فكرة أو شعور.

teacher – student – city – book – dog – love – happiness

أنواع الأسماء

Common Nouns – الأسماء العامة

تشير إلى أشخاص أو أشياء أو أماكن بصورة عامة.

boy – school – city – teacher – book

Proper Nouns – أسماء العلم

تشير إلى شخص أو مكان أو مؤسسة أو يوم أو شهر أو اسم محدد، وتبدأ عادة بحرف كبير.

Countable Nouns – الأسماء المعدودة

يمكن عدّها، ولها مفرد وجمع.

one book → two books one apple → three apples

Uncountable Nouns – الأسماء غير المعدودة

تدل غالبًا على مواد أو مفاهيم لا تُعد عادة كوحدات منفصلة بالطريقة نفسها.

water – milk – rice – sugar – information – advice

Collective Nouns – أسماء الجماعة

team – group – family – crowd – class

Concrete Nouns – الأسماء المحسوسة

تشير إلى أشياء يمكن إدراكها بالحواس.

chair – phone – tree – car – dog

Abstract Nouns – الأسماء المجردة

تشير إلى الأفكار والمشاعر والصفات والمفاهيم غير الملموسة.

love – freedom – happiness – knowledge – friendship

Compound Nouns – الأسماء المركبة

تتكون من كلمتين أو أكثر وتعمل معًا كاسم واحد.

schoolbag – bedroom – football – bus stop – swimming pool

Possessive Nouns – أسماء الملكية

2. Pronoun – الضمير

الضمير كلمة تحل محل الاسم أو تشير إليه، وتساعد على تجنب التكرار.

Ali is a student. He is smart.

أنواع الضمائر

النوع أمثلة الوظيفة
Personal Pronouns I, you, he, she, it, we, they الإشارة إلى الأشخاص والأشياء
Object Pronouns me, you, him, her, it, us, them تأتي غالبًا كمفعول به
Possessive Pronouns mine, yours, his, hers, ours, theirs التعبير عن الملكية
Possessive Determiners my, your, his, her, its, our, their تسبق الاسم وتحدد الملكية
Demonstrative Pronouns this, that, these, those الإشارة
Reflexive Pronouns myself, yourself, himself, herself, itself, ourselves, themselves العودة إلى الفاعل
Relative Pronouns who, whom, which, that, whose ربط الجملة أو العبارة بالاسم
Interrogative Pronouns who, whom, whose, what, which تكوين الأسئلة
Indefinite Pronouns someone, anyone, nobody, everyone, something, nothing الإشارة غير المحددة

3. Verb – الفعل

الفعل يعبر عن حدث أو فعل أو حالة.

go – eat – play – write – sleep – know – be

أنواع الأفعال

Main Verbs – الأفعال الرئيسية

She works every day.

Auxiliary Verbs – الأفعال المساعدة

أهمها:

be – do – have
She is working. Do you like coffee? They have finished.

Modal Verbs – الأفعال الناقصة

can – could – may – might – must – shall – should – will – would

وتستخدم للتعبير عن القدرة أو الاحتمال أو الإذن أو الوجوب أو النصيحة أو النية وغيرها.

Linking Verbs – أفعال الربط

The dog is happy. She became tired.

Regular Verbs – الأفعال المنتظمة

talk → talked → talked walk → walked → walked

Irregular Verbs – الأفعال غير المنتظمة

go → went → gone write → wrote → written begin → began → begun

Transitive & Intransitive Verbs

بعض الأفعال تحتاج مفعولًا به، وبعضها يمكن أن يكتمل معناها من دونه.

She opened the door. The baby slept.

4. Adjective – الصفة

الصفة تصف اسمًا أو ضميرًا وتضيف إليه معلومات مثل الحجم أو اللون أو الحالة أو العدد.

Comparative

Ali is taller than Omar.

Superlative

Ali is the tallest boy in the class.

5. Adverb – الظرف / الحال

يصف الظرف الفعل أو الصفة أو ظرفًا آخر، ويمكن أن يبين الكيفية أو الزمن أو المكان أو التكرار أو الدرجة.

أنواع الظروف

  • Adverbs of Manner – quickly, carefully, slowly
  • Adverbs of Time – today, yesterday, soon, later
  • Adverbs of Place – here, there, outside
  • Adverbs of Frequency – always, usually, often, sometimes, never
  • Adverbs of Degree – very, quite, too, extremely
She speaks English clearly. He always arrives early. They are very happy.

6. Preposition – حرف الجر

يوضح حرف الجر العلاقة بين الكلمات، ويستخدم كثيرًا للتعبير عن المكان والزمان والاتجاه والعلاقة.

in – on – at – under – between – behind – with – to – from – into – across – through

Prepositions of Place

The cat is under the table. The book is on the table.

at 7 o'clock on Monday in July

Prepositions of Movement / Direction

7. Conjunction – أداة الربط

تستخدم أدوات الربط لربط الكلمات أو العبارات أو الجمل.

Coordinating Conjunctions

and – but – or – so – for – nor – yet
I like tea and coffee. I was tired, but I finished my homework.

Subordinating Conjunctions

because – although – if – when – while – since – before – after – unless
I stayed home because I was tired.

Correlative Conjunctions

either...or neither...nor both...and not only...but also

8. Determiner – المحدِّد

الـDeterminers كلمات تأتي عادة قبل الاسم لتحديده أو تعريفه أو الإشارة إلى ملكيته أو كميته.

أنواع Determiners الأساسية

  • Articles: a, an, the
  • Demonstratives: this, that, these, those
  • Possessives: my, your, his, her, our, their
  • Quantifiers: some, any, much, many, few, little, several
  • Numbers: one, two, three...
  • Distributives: each, every, either, neither

Articles

A / An تستخدمان غالبًا مع الاسم المفرد المعدود عندما لا يكون محددًا.

a book an apple

The تستخدم غالبًا عندما يكون الشيء معروفًا أو محددًا.

the book on the table the sun

9. Interjection – أداة التعجب

كلمات قصيرة تستخدم للتعبير عن مشاعر مفاجئة أو ردود فعل مباشرة.

Wow! Oh! Oops! Hey! Great!

كيف تتكون الجملة الإنجليزية؟

من أهم الأسس في الإنجليزية فهم ترتيب الكلمات.

Subject + Verb + Object
Sara writes a letter.

لكن الجملة الإنجليزية لا تتكون دائمًا من ثلاثة عناصر فقط؛ فقد تحتوي على Complement وModifier وAdverbial وPrepositional Phrase وغيرها.

Subject

Ali plays football.

Verb

Ali plays football.

Object

Ali plays football.

Complement

She is happy. He became a doctor.

Adverbial / Modifier

She speaks English very well. He plays football every day.

أنماط الجملة الأساسية في الإنجليزية

S + V

Birds fly.

S + V + O

She reads books.

S + V + C

He is tired.

S + V + O + O

She gave me a book.

S + V + O + C

They made him captain.

Clauses – الجمل / العبارات الإسنادية

الـClause مجموعة كلمات تحتوي عادة على Subject وVerb.

Independent Clause

I went home.

Dependent Clause

because I was tired

Main Clause + Subordinate Clause

I went home because I was tired.

Phrase – العبارة

الـPhrase مجموعة كلمات تعمل كوحدة، لكنها لا تحتوي بالضرورة على Subject وVerb كاملين.

أنواع الجمل حسب التركيب

Simple Sentence

Ali plays football.

Compound Sentence

Ali plays football, and Sara plays tennis.

Complex Sentence

Ali went home because he was tired.

Compound-Complex Sentence

Ali went home because he was tired, and Sara stayed at school.

صياغة الجمل المنفية

يختلف تكوين النفي حسب نوع الفعل والزمن المستخدم.

He does not eat vegetables. She is not happy. They did not go. I have not finished.

Short Forms

do not → don't does not → doesn't did not → didn't is not → isn't are not → aren't cannot → can't

Negative Words

never – nobody – no one – nothing – nowhere
I never drink coffee at night. Nobody knows the answer. There is nothing here.

صياغة الجمل الاستفهامية

Yes / No Questions

Do they play football? Is she happy? Did he go home?

Wh- Questions

What – Who – Whom – Whose – Which – When – Where – Why – How
Where do you live? Why did she leave? How did you learn English?

Tag Questions

You are ready, aren't you? He doesn't like coffee, does he?

Negative Questions

Isn't it a beautiful day? Don't you like English?

Embedded Questions

في الأسئلة المدمجة يصبح السؤال جزءًا من جملة أكبر، ولا نستخدم ترتيب السؤال المعكوس داخل الجزء المدمج.

I wonder why she left. Could you tell me where the station is?

Relative Clauses – الجمل الموصولة

تستخدم لإضافة معلومات عن اسم سابق في الجملة.

The teacher who helped me was kind. The car that you bought is fast. The book which I read was interesting.

Relative Pronouns

who – whom – which – that – whose

Inversion – عكس ترتيب الجملة

Inversion من التراكيب المتقدمة، ويظهر خصوصًا في الأسلوب الرسمي أو عندما نريد إبراز معنى معين.

After Negative Adverbials

Never have I seen such kindness.
Rarely do we see this happen.

No sooner / Hardly / Scarcely

No sooner had we arrived than it started to rain.

Place Inversion

Here comes the bus.

الكلمات التي يمكن أن تنتمي إلى أكثر من قسم

ليست كل كلمة مرتبطة دائمًا بوظيفة واحدة. فقد تتغير وظيفة الكلمة حسب استعمالها داخل الجملة.

I drink water every day. This drink is cold.

في الجملة الأولى drink فعل، وفي الثانية اسم.

I love my dog. My love of learning is strong.

لذلك من الأفضل دائمًا دراسة الكلمة في السياق.

كيف تفهم الجملة الإنجليزية بطريقة صحيحة؟

من أفضل الطرق لتعلم الإنجليزية أن تتوقف عن النظر إلى الكلمات كقائمة منفصلة، وأن تبدأ بالنظر إليها باعتبارها أجزاء تعمل معًا.

اسأل نفسك داخل كل جملة:
من الفاعل؟ ما الفعل؟ هل يوجد مفعول به؟ ما الكلمات التي تصف؟ ما الكلمات التي تحدد؟ ما الكلمات التي تربط؟ وما العلاقة بين أجزاء الجملة؟
The smart boy quickly opened the door.

يمكن تحليل الجملة مثلًا إلى:

  • The → Determiner
  • smart → Adjective
  • boy → Noun / Subject
  • quickly → Adverb
  • opened → Verb
  • the → Determiner
  • door → Noun / Object

الخاتمة

تُعد Parts of Speech من الأسس الرئيسية لفهم Grammar الإنجليزية، لكن معرفة اسم القسم ليست الهدف النهائي؛ فالهدف هو أن تعرف كيف تعمل الكلمة داخل الجملة، وما علاقتها ببقية الكلمات.

وكلما انتقلت من الجملة البسيطة إلى الجمل المركبة والمعقدة، أصبحت معرفة وظيفة الكلمات والعبارات والجمل أكثر أهمية.

لذلك لا تحفظ الكلمات منفردة فقط، بل حاول دائمًا أن تدرسها داخل جملة، وأن تسأل نفسك:

What is this word doing in this sentence?

ما وظيفة هذه الكلمة داخل هذه الجملة؟
